1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. The position is part-time, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and an attractive starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Execute tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, success-driven attitude, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move up to 45 pounds and operate powered equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry items throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered equipment safely.
