Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc is seeking an Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology to support US Medical Affairs activities primarily related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). You will develop and maintain evidence-based scientific and educational programs, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and support various business goals. This role requires strong clinical background in Oncology, experience in clinical trial data interpretation, exceptional presentation skills, and a track record of high performance.
Responsibilities
- Support US Medical Affairs activities for HER2+ target therapy in GEA and BTCs.
- Collaborate with commercial partners for Market Access, Marketing activities, and sales support.
- Provide medical authority for reviewing responses to medical information requests.
- Support regional post-marketing studies and medical congress activities.
- Execute a Regional Medical Strategy aligning with Brand Strategy and Global Medical Strategy.
Requirements
- Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
- Strong clinical/scientific background in Oncology.
- Expertise in clinical trial data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with early to mid-life cycle products.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- MD, PhD, or PharmD required.
Travel
- 20-30% domestic travel required.
