Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc is seeking an Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology to support US Medical Affairs activities primarily related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). You will develop and maintain evidence-based scientific and educational programs, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and support various business goals. This role requires strong clinical background in Oncology, experience in clinical trial data interpretation, exceptional presentation skills, and a track record of high performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support US Medical Affairs activities for HER2+ target therapy in GEA and BTCs.
  • Collaborate with commercial partners for Market Access, Marketing activities, and sales support.
  • Provide medical authority for reviewing responses to medical information requests.
  • Support regional post-marketing studies and medical congress activities.
  • Execute a Regional Medical Strategy aligning with Brand Strategy and Global Medical Strategy.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • Strong clinical/scientific background in Oncology.
  • Expertise in clinical trial data analysis and interpretation.
  • Experience with early to mid-life cycle products.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • MD, PhD, or PharmD required.

Travel

  • 20-30% domestic travel required.
