1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. As a valued member of our warehouse team, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards through general cleaning duties.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgetary goals.
• Operate equipment safely and perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and product integrity.
• Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Adaptable to setbacks and challenges with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Stand, bend, reach, and move continuously in warehouse environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
