1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations team at Aldi. As a warehouse associate, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, following comprehensive training and safety guidelines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise as per product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Conduct general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Work independently within designated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budget goals.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Work both independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
