1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores, ensuring our customers receive top-quality goods. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
