1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment to our stores. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
