1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The role involves working 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. Various schedules are available, such as Schedule D and Schedule B.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to company policies.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Collaborative and positive attitude.
• Able to work efficiently independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
