1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. This position offers competitive compensation and a range of benefits to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and collaborate with team members.
• Provide input to enhance warehouse processes and quality control.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously or in a team setting.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
