1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at ALDI. As a full-time employee, you will work 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour. Join our team and contribute to the efficient handling of merchandise in our warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general warehouse cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Operate within safety guidelines.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic and procedural guidelines.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Perform various physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
