1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 30-35 hours per week
Starting Wage: Up to $22.75 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay)
Shift: 1st Shift - 8:00 AM start time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill store orders.
• Relocates merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, and loads merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Performs general cleaning duties maintaining warehouse appearance standards and safety.
• Participates in warehouse inventory counts and communicates effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provides input to improve warehouse processes and assists in achieving budgeted goals.
• Inspects product quality and safety, collaborating with warehouse management.
• Operates equipment safely, follows procedures, and reports issues.
• Performs tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates quality and safety concern, cooperates with the team, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, good communication, basic arithmetic, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lifts and moves products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Moves merchandise, sits, stands, bends, and operates equipment in varying temperatures.
