1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking to hire a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position averaging 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining warehouse cleanliness, participating in inventory counts, and collaborating effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
