1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on the shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving incoming stock efficiently, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, participating in warehouse inventory counts, and maintaining warehouse appearance and safety standards. Your role will involve cooperating with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, providing input for process improvements, and ensuring product quality and safety. You will also be expected to operate equipment safely, follow ergonomic procedures, and work within company policies and procedures. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.

• Driven for success and efficiency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and moving up to 45 pounds of products.
• Standing, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the warehouse.
• Working in varying temperatures and operating industrial equipment.
