1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving and preparing merchandise for shipment, organizing inventory, ensuring warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to meet safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
