1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week, with a starting wage ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, moving, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise within the warehouse. Your duties will also include maintaining warehouse cleanliness, participating in inventory counts, and collaborating effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities and assist in achieving goals.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Requirements

• Be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team environment.
