1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our warehouse team at Aldi as 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores to ensure our customers can enjoy the quality goods Aldi provides. With an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, your hard work will contribute to the operational excellence that Aldi is known for.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse cleaning and inventory counts as needed.
• Work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure effective communication and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Movement of merchandise to and from warehouse stock.
• Work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment as needed.
