1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Shift Schedule

We are currently hiring for Schedule B which requires working both Saturday and Sunday 2 out of every 3 weeks, with 2 consecutive weekdays off when scheduled on the weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, follow instructions, and operate powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
