1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. This Full-Time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Clean warehouse and participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of issues.

Job Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must be at least 18 years old, act conscientiously, collaborate with the team, demonstrate a positive attitude, drive for success, organize and execute efficiently. Knowledge of basic arithmetic, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.

Physical Requirements

The job involves lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, standing, bending, reaching, and operating powered industrial equipment in varying temperatures.
