1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi's warehouse operations team. Our warehouse employees play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores, ensuring that our customers receive top-quality products. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and a competitive starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality, identify safety concerns and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, drives for success, organized.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, work in varying temperatures.
