Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift objects up to 45 pounds and move merchandise.
• Perform various physical activities like bending, reaching, and standing.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
