1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores, ultimately providing top-quality service to our customers. As a part-time team member, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. You will be responsible for various tasks, including selecting and receiving incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and participating in warehouse inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
