1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. Our warehouse plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety
• Act independently within assigned responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budget goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment
• Stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse
