1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the Aldi team. As a full-time member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse standards are met. You will collaborate with peers, manage inventory, and contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines and prepare for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Inspect and ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities and assist in achieving goals.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize tasks, follow instructions, and maintain high productivity levels.
• Experience with basic arithmetic, communication skills, and adherence to company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures, standing, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the warehouse.
