1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. With an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, you will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, supported by a comprehensive training and safety program.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse appearance standards through general cleaning duties.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, product integrity, and safety.
• Collaborates effectively in a team environment.
• Adapts positively to challenges and change.
• Makes decisions efficiently and follows instructions accurately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and proficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
