1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Organize and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities and support warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse protocols.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and efficiency.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
• Possess strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical environments.
