2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated 2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks such as selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, unloading, and maintaining the warehouse's cleanliness and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently selects and receives incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocates merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, loads, and unloads merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintains warehouse appearance standards through general cleaning.
• Participates in warehouse inventory counts and communicates effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provides input to improve warehouse processes and inspects product quality.
• Acts independently within delegated responsibilities and assists in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follows safety guidelines, ergonomic programs, and reports product quality and safety concerns.
• Performs tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaborative and cooperative teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Able to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work both independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
