Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of the warehouse management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficient and safe practices within the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and modify daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
- Coordinate job activities and tasks of direct reports.
- Oversee daily receiving, selection, and shipping of products.
- Monitor processes for inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve operational results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
- Lead Warehouse Associate meetings and provide training for development.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage controllable expenses and inventory efficiency.
- Identify and rectify hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
Job Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies including Positive Attitude & Resilience, Driving for Success, Collaboration, and Critical Thinking. Additionally, candidates should have excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Education and Experience
An equivalent of a High School Diploma is preferred. Previous experience in warehouse management or relevant field is advantageous.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in varying temperatures, stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 45 pounds.
