2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the dynamic team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week at a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently selecting, receiving, and preparing merchandise for shipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Conduct general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively within the team.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and safety, reporting issues as necessary.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Collaborative and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
