Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As a Supervisor, Operations I, you will play a key role in planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure the timely, safe, and damage-free loading and unloading of freight on assigned shifts. Your responsibilities will include maintaining load plans, assigning job tasks, providing training and feedback, and fostering a safe working environment.

General Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for safe freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performance.
• Create a safe working environment and foster safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: Service Center or transportation experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Other Requirements: Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
