Job Description

As the Assistant General Manager at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway, you will play a vital role in overseeing the hotel's operations and supporting the General Manager in achieving optimum efficiency and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations, staff training, public relations, guest feedback, and ensuring compliance with hotel standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations and staff management.
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve complaints to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Conduct property inspections to maintain standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with staff and other departments for operational effectiveness.
  • Lead and support hotel team members, providing guidance and maintaining grooming standards.
  • Ensure timely communication of hotel policies and procedures to staff.

Requirements

  • Strong management skills with the ability to delegate effectively.
  • University degree or diploma in hotel management or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry with 3-4 years in a managerial role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
