Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in managing day-to-day store operations, ensuring performance targets are met, and fostering team growth through training and development opportunities. You will collaborate with leadership to implement action plans, uphold company values, monitor the competitive landscape, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Position Details

- Average Hours: 38 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members
- Identify training opportunities for team development
- Understand company strategy and promote teamwork among employees
- Monitor and react to market changes to maintain competitiveness
- Provide product feedback and recommendations
- Supervise store personnel and uphold operational standards
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve operational concerns
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper product presentation
- Manage stock levels and merchandising for optimal sales
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Knowledge of retail policies and procedures
- Experience in budgeting and personnel management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior retail management experience preferred
