Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, supervising day-to-day activities, and driving overall store performance. Your responsibilities will include developing operational plans, managing schedules, providing training opportunities for team growth, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
