Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in managing store operations, leading and developing the team, and ensuring top-notch customer service. This is a full-time position with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $25.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for the team.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.
