Job Description
We are hiring an Assistant Retail Manager at Aldi to take on key store management responsibilities. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Communicate and model the company's core values to foster teamwork.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback.
- Participate in store personnel interviews and ensure adherence to policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure the highest level of customer service.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Prior management experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Management experience or a combination of education and equivalent knowledge.
