Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering team growth through training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing action plans to improve store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training needs to enhance team performance.
• Ensure adherence to company values, fostering teamwork among employees.
• Monitor competitive landscape for strategic adjustments.
• Provide feedback on products and participate in the interview process.
• Manage inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control.
• Maintain store cleanliness, proper signage, and stock levels.

Requirements

• 18 years or older as per Aldi employment requirements.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to lead by example.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in retail management is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years retail experience, with prior management experience preferred.
