Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Data Innovation to lead the data and analytics platforms for the Jazz Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) department. This role involves overseeing the SaaS solution 'elluminate' for centralized data cleaning, reviews, and operational oversight, as well as managing the clinical trial operational data within an enterprise business intelligence application. The Associate Director will provide strategic vision, leadership, and mentorship to the Clinical Data Innovation team, fostering cross-functional relationships and contributing to the growth of the group within the GCDO structure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the strategic roadmap for clinical data platform(s).
- Optimize Jazz's use of the platforms and drive change management strategies.
- Mentor and lead the Clinical Data Innovation team, ensuring key goals are met.
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and IT.
- Interface with technology vendors and maintain knowledge in technology as applied to clinical trials.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of clinical trial study design and data visualization tools.
- Experience with CDASH standards and clinical trial data collection systems.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Biology, Mathematics, or related fields.
- 10 years in a clinical trial role with management experience.
