Job Description
We are hiring a Neurology Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team at Tenet-Alabama in Homewood, Alabama. As a Charge Nurse, you will provide oversight of the nursing staff and operations for the assigned area, ensuring adequate staffing, supplies, and equipment availability. Additionally, you will assist in providing direct nursing care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Assist in delivering direct patient care.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the specialty area.
- Certification: Current license, certification, or registration to practice profession as required by state regulations; CPR certification.
