Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team at Helen Porter, a reputable Rehabilitation & Nursing facility within The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Charge Nurse, you will lead and coordinate nursing activities, ensuring high-quality patient care in our Post-Acute Unit. This position offers a day shift schedule on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Run Charge for nursing services, applying specialized knowledge and skills.
• Work collaboratively with the medical team to support patient care.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and well-being during their stay.
• Provide compassionate and empathetic nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current RN licensure in Vermont.
• Previous post-acute experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and a high aptitude for learning.
