Clinical Development Lead, Solid Tumor Oncology, BTC & GEA

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for an experienced Clinical Development Lead specializing in Solid Tumor Oncology, focusing on BTC and GEA. This key leadership role involves driving the clinical development strategy for Oncology assets, managing a team of Medical Directors, and ensuring the success of development programs from planning to commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the clinical development of Oncology programs for BTC and GEA.
• Develop global clinical development plans, oversee clinical trials, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and manage budget allocation and resource planning.
• Analyze clinical trial data, identify risks, and foster external collaborations.
• Lead and develop high-performing clinical development teams, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in successfully leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development.
• Proven track record in leading clinical development teams and excellent communication skills.
• MD required, board certification in Oncology preferred, and a higher postgraduate degree like a PhD is a plus.
• Previous experience in solid tumor oncology development, particularly in BTC or Gastrointestinal cancers, is advantageous.
