Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Construction Cost Project Analyst to join the dynamic National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As the Construction Cost Project Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing construction cost management on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids, and ensuring that construction costs align with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Analyze construction bids and provide recommendations to divisional real estate teams.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis reports and pricing data for projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative construction practices.
• Review contract pricing and market pricing for critical trades.
• Assist in training and developing team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents and construction cost indices.
• Proficiency in RS Means software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
