Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As a Construction Cost Project Analyst, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level and collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction, architecture, or engineering, with the goal of ensuring that construction costs align with project scopes and regional trends.

This role is eligible for ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, allowing remote work up to 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Managers on negotiation points with contractors.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis for divisional real estate teams.
• Provide pricing data and practices to ensure consistent pricing structures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in construction documents and proposals.
• Create analytical reports for bid evaluations.
• Research alternative materials for more economical practices.
• Assist in team training and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost indices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
