Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will work collaboratively with the team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases and assist with general cleaning duties.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
