Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team, delivering top-notch customer service, and ensuring store operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company standards
• Follow established policies while upholding document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
