Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide courteous customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
  • Comply with all established policies, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Ability to stock shelves, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks throughout the store.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Efficient cash register operation.
  • Safe equipment operation.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Work well independently and in a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Retail experience is a plus, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
