Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capacity to work independently and within a team environment efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
