Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Provide feedback on product quality, inventory, and potential issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Previous retail experience preferred
