Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
  • Provide feedback on product quality, inventory, and potential issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Comply with company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Previous retail experience preferred
