Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and customer-oriented Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Working Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies for loss prevention.
- Follow company policies ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently.
- Skilled in general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet local regulations for handling and selling alcohol.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
