Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and providing outstanding customer service. Your contribution will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers by working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Stock shelves, process customer purchases, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment, including hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Compliance with cleaning standards and company procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
