Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join ALDI's team. As a full-time Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-maintained. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Physical Demands
The role involves stocking merchandise, lifting weights up to 45 pounds, and various physical activities within the store environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness per company standards.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Adherence to state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in retail is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience equivalent is valued.
