Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will play a vital role in merchandising, cashiering, and providing top-notch customer service, contributing to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure neatly stocked shelves.
- Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills.
- Ability to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent knowledge.
