Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will play a vital role in merchandising, cashiering, and providing top-notch customer service, contributing to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure neatly stocked shelves.
  • Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills.
  • Ability to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent knowledge.
