Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow established policies and maintain document security

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment as required
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Work effectively in a team or independently
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is beneficial
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
